Admission Process

Admissions at K.R. Memorial Academy are based on a Common Aptitude Analysis (Entrance Test). The admission process is designed to understand the academic potential, aptitude and overall readiness of the student.

Admissions are finalized by the Education Committee comprising members from different streams and areas of expertise, including Science, Commerce, Arts, Counselors and Psychologists.

The committee takes due cognizance of the merit list prepared on the basis of the student's performance in the Common Aptitude Analysis.

Students who qualify the aptitude analysis are invited for an interaction with the Education Committee as part of the admission process.

Parents of students who are offered admission are expected to confirm their acceptance within 10 working days, accompanied by the applicable payment as per the school prospectus.

Registration

Complete the registration process and submit the required documents at the school's Administration Office.

Common Aptitude Analysis

Students appear for the applicable entrance or aptitude assessment to evaluate their academic readiness and aptitude.

Merit List

A merit list is prepared based on the student's performance in the aptitude analysis.

Interaction with Education Committee

Students who qualify are invited for an interaction with the Education Committee.

Admission Offer

Parents of selected students are informed about the admission offer and the applicable admission requirements.

Confirmation of Admission

Parents are expected to confirm their acceptance within 10 working days along with the applicable payment as per the school prospectus.

Parents are requested to carefully review the age eligibility, registration requirements and documentation requirements before proceeding with the admission process.

Registration Process

  1. Registration forms are available Monday to Saturday at the school's Administration Office for both Senior and Junior School.
  2. Registration office timings are 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  3. Payment may be made through Cash / Pay Order in favor of K.R. Memorial Academy.
  4. Dates for interaction for Classes I to IX are announced at the time of registration.
  5. Admission to Class XI – Science and Commerce is open after the applicable entrance examination.

Documents Required at Time of Registration

  1. Self-attested copy of the Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation or competent authority.
  2. Self-attested copy of Aadhaar Card of the child and parents.
  3. Self-attested copy of proof of residence, such as the latest Electricity Bill, Ration Card, Telephone Bill or Passport.
  4. Two recent passport-sized photographs of the parents/guardian and child.

Final Admission Documents

The following documents may be required at the time of final admission:

  • Proof of residential address (Passport / Registered Lease Deed / Paid Electricity Bill / Electoral Card).
  • In case of rental accommodation, an affidavit on stamp paper.
  • Certificate of medical wellbeing issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner.
  • Vaccination history report issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner.
  • Blood Group Report.
  • Proof of nationality: PAN Card or Passport of both parents.
  • Proof of identity: UID / Passport / Driving Licence (any one) of both parents.
  • Highest qualification degree of both parents (optional).
  • For transfer cases, a Transfer Certificate from the previous institution is required from KG onwards.

Important Guidelines

  • Submission of a registration form does not guarantee admission.
  • Admission is subject to the availability of seats in the respective class.
  • Selection is based on the applicable aptitude assessment, merit and interaction process.
  • Parents should ensure that all documents submitted are valid and authentic.
  • Parents of students offered admission should confirm their acceptance within 10 working days.
  • Parents are advised to retain copies of all documents submitted during the admission process.
